A Temple For Obama
Topics: Political News and commentariesReuters reports (HT - Powerline) that "Barack Obama's big speech on Thursday night will be delivered from an elaborate columned stage resembling a miniature Greek temple." John McCormack has a photograph of the stage under construction here.
The Political Enquirer visualizes the scene below where Barack will be giving his acceptance speech - a miniature version of an ancient Greek temple, as in the kind of structures where Gods were worshiped, of course. PE calls it "An Ego For The Ages In A Classical Setting":
I can't help but wonder who the screwball advisor is that came up with the screwball idea of the Barackopolis!
