A Scandal Looms On Obama That's Larger Than Edwards'

The John Edwards affair is a chilling reminder that Democratic cover-ups can succeed, with the help of the media, and that even the most sophisticated "investigative" reporters are prepared to overlook potential Democratic scandals. Edwards is out of the race, but Obama is running ahead in most polls for the highest office in the land and seems confident that the media will not blow the whistle on his Marxist associate.As Kincaid notes in his piece, Obama's communist connection, which he failed to disclose in his 1995 book, Dreams From My Father, by referring to Davis only as "Frank" and ignoring his communist affiliation, is a far more serious scandal than an Edwards "love child." As was the case with the Edwards story, the mainstream media have been more than happy to overlook another Democratic scandal, and as went the Edwards story in the MSM in which the MSM ended up with large gobs of egg on its face, so is going the Obama-Communist connections.

In the way of a footnote to this post, I have to admit that I'm still a bit skeptical about the validity of the whole Obama COLB issue. The rationale of the bloggers and the technical work sounds reasonable, but I find it hard to believe that the DNC could be this freaking dumb. And then there's the fact that it's being promoted by Larry Johnson (yes that Larry Johnson - as in Michelle Obama and the "Whitey tape") who's credibility is seriously in question. After all, we've been down this road before.
