Obama's Voice And Speech Last Night Sounded Strangely Like - Jeremiah Wright And ....
Topics: Political News and commentariesComment posted at Free Republic.
I did not hear till now about an analysis of OBAMA's stance , created mediatic image and above all his voice and way of speaking. As a center-of-the-road American I found his speech to be a blend of three men: Marx, Adolf Hitler, and Jeremiah Wright.Probably it has been done somewhere but as a European I was struck by the way he speaks - like some kind of preachers or populist political leaders reminding us very bad memories. It reminds me some leaders hypnotizing crowds and leading them to real nightmares.
The rythm, the loudness, the tone of his voice beside the repetition of mantras ("change","yes we can"...) give a scary impression...
But this it not surprising if he learned from J.WRIGHT
As for the audience ...
From another commenter at the same link:
Whereas Jesse Jackson uses jingoisms, Obama uses a series of parallel clauses before he makes his point. And from another poster at the link:He preaches Hope and Change, words w/nebulous definitions in his case, and in this way his listeners fill in the blanks w/their own interpretations of what he means.
This smoke and mirrors technique follows the methods he used as a community organizer.
He is on record as having said that self-interest is what drives people to follow anyone who espouses his own agenda in seeking power.
dem·a·gogue Variant(s): also dem·a·gog \ˈde-mə-ˌgäg\And from yet another commenter at the link:Function: noun
Etymology: Greek dēmagōgos, from dēmos people (perhaps akin to Greek daiesthai to divide) + agōgos leading, from agein to lead -- more at tide, agent Date: 1648
1 : a leader who makes use of popular prejudices and false claims and promises in order to gain power
2 : a leader championing the cause of the common people in ancient times -- dem·a·gogu·ery \-ˌgä-g(ə-)rē\ noun -- dem·a·gogy \-ˌgä-gē, -ˌgä-jē, -ˌgō-jē\ noun
... the message is government dominance....You can't drive your SUV or eat whatever you want...very scarey because it's aimed at you and me...the hard working middle class. And from Tom Bevan at RCC came this:
... he rose to the meet the occasion for the most part, though he did strike me as looking too angry throughout much of the speech. The climax at the end also struck me as a bit over the top veering dangerously close to the kind of messianic rhetoric that might make people's hair stand on end (generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment... when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal).Again, back to the view of this Independent, center-of-the-road blogger (okay, center-right to be exact), I saw and heard in Obama's speech last night enough to know that America should be very afraid of Barack Hussein Obama as president. He sounded more like a marxist mole with a twist of Jeremiah Wright, and salted with Adolph Hitler.
Yes, be very afraid of this guy, be very afraid.
