Obama's 'Conventional' Faith ?

... very interesting faith (sic), but surely not conventional Christianity in any stretch of imagination, except Obamas. Indeed, the problem seems to be that Obama thinks his Christian faith is conventional when it's anything but. As Perpetua of Carthage points out, Barack Obama has been telling the national mainstream media that he has a "conventional Christian faith" and the national mainstream media do not question it. Perhaps this is because neither Obama or the national mainstream media know what a "conventional Christian faith" is.

And as SHN Campaign Blog suggests, we are seeing a troubling pattern developing with Obama: nothing is as it seems. He campaigns as a unifying figure who can bring the country together but has a history as a leftist activist with connections to radical and unsavory characters. He is presented as the messianic political figure and rhetorical magician and yet he is a full time gaffe machine.
