Moving Toward A Euthanasia Nation: 'Oregon Offers to Pay to Kill, but Not to Treat Cancer Patient'
Topics: Life IssuesLung cancer patient, Barbara Wagner, was recently notified that her oncologist-prescribed medication that would slow the growth of cancer would not be covered by the Oregon Health Plan; the plan, however, she was informed, would cover doctor-assisted suicide should she wish to kill herself.
That's the bad news and the telling tale of the views of a government that places no value on the gift from God to all of us, including the liberal-progressives that apparently control the Oregon State Government. However, and fortunately for Barbara Wagner, there is a happy ending for the story.
But it doesn't come from the heartless, liberal, euthanasia-pushing Oregon government. The happy ending comes from a big business - the pharmaceutical company that makes the drug to treat her.
Knowing in advance of asking this question, where are we headed as a nation if we place no value on human life? And when did all this lack of concern for and importance of human life in our society begin?
