Is Their A Michelle Obama 'Whitey Tape'? (Updated)

Topics: Political News and commentaries

We keep hearing about it, and it's beginning to sound more and more like one does indeed exist. Here Roger Stone of Fox News says that a TV network HAS the tape on which Michelle Obama, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.)'s wife, rants against "Whitey" (HT - Rezko Watch)

Ah yes, of course Michael Brown; it's just another Republican smear attack?

We shall see soon, one way or the other!

UPDATE via Jim Geraghty at The Campaign Spot: Larry Johnson is either crazy, a pathological liar, or he's giving us our first glimpse of a tape that will be devastating to Obama: "I have not seen it but I have heard from five separate sources who have spoken directly with people who have seen the tape. It features Michelle Obama and Louis Farrakhan. They are sitting on a panel at Jeremiah Wright's Church when Michelle makes her intemperate remarks."

Update 2 - and what I consider to be the best take on the matter: Where Da "Whitey" Woman Tape At?

Yes-The Republicans will hold on to this tape. Yes-they'll use it in October. Yes-because of it the Republicans will rather face BooHoO in November. It is the political equivalent of a nuke. And YES-the tape does exist-otherwise, there would by now have been a strong denial that it even exists (bluff called). After all, BooHoO has nothing to fear if there really is no tape. I hope the custodians of the tape have made several copies and placed them into secure and secret locations. Given the increasingly hysterical nature of this presidential campaign, some quite risky "dirty tricks" can be anticipated to destroy the tape.

I hope Bruce is right. The GOP needs all the ammo it can get to overcome a media that is determined to have a radical Black Nationalist/Marxist worm his way into the presidency.
