Obama Comes Up With Patriotism For Campaign In West Virginia

In what turns out to be an unintentional companion piece to Abdul's post below on Obama's need to say anything - do anything - to lie to the American people about who he really is and what he really stands for in order to win the general, apparently Obama is campaigning in Charleston right now, and Tom Bevan couldn't help but notice that Obamamessiah is wearing a flag pin on his lapel and has two huge American flags as his backdrop. All while praising the troops.

I apparently saw the same speech and couldn't help but notice that he fell "waaaaaay" short of supporting the mission of our troops. You can't really support the troops without supporting their mission, in spite of what liberals like Obama believe, and in spite of whatever distorted, twisted, excuses they use for not doing so.

In other coverage, AllahPundit reminds us that Obama has said he doesn't resort to gimmicks or give in to pressure to conform to the status quo, but apparently that's exactly what he's doing. Of course, what else do we expect, given the necessity of deluding the American people as he morphs from far-left liberal for the Democratic primary to a middle-of-the-road patriotic American for the General?
