IAEA to Iran: Explain 2004 Documents For Building Nukes
Topics: Iran"Why (was the American intelligence community) so intent on dismissing the threat from Iran that they reversed three years of high-confidence assessments of an ongoing nuclear-weapons program to replace it with a moderate-confidence dismissal?"If you were among the gullible and naive liberals that believed the American intelligence community when it issued a national estimate that claimed with moderate confidence that the Iranians had ceased work on a nuclear bomb by 2003, you were indeed gullible and naive. The IAEA has documents which dispute the NIE, and call into question the motives behind its creation.
Back when it first came out, we wrote that just because the liberal Democratic leadership, the liberal media, and the far Left, no-war-at-any-cost, peacenik crowd fell for what can best be described as only the latest intelligence report and/or leak (of a long list of ) cooked up by bureaucrats eager to embarrass George Bush and transform US policy towards Iran - doesn't make the NIE report accurate - as reported by the media.
We were right.
