Religion of Peace Report: Muslim Lawyer Says 'Non-Muslims Deserve to Be Punished'

A report posted on Islam Watch, a site run by Muslims who oppose intolerant teachings and hatred for unbelievers, offers this interesting exchange between a member of "Islam Watch," a prominent Islamic cleric, and a Muslim lawyer who supports extreme punishment for non-Muslims -- including killing and rape:
[...] "Because non-Muslims are never innocent, they are guilty of denying Allah and his prophet," the Imam says, according to the report. "If you don't believe me, here is the legal authority, the top Muslim lawyer of Britain."In this video, Anjum Chaudri describes the "Killing of Innocent" Non-Muslims civilians in the suicide bombing as "Legitimate". You absolutely must see this to believe it, and as you watch it, you clearly see that any argument Muslims believe they have against the points Geert Wilders makes in his must-watch film Fitna, are completely destroyed:... The lawyer, Anjem Choudary, backs up the Imam's position, saying that all Muslims are innocent.
... "You are innocent if you are a Muslim," Choudary tells the BBC. "Then you are innocent in the eyes of God. If you are not a Muslim, then you are guilty of not believing in God."
Choudary said he would not condemn a Muslim for any action.
"As a Muslim, I must support my Muslim brothers and sisters," Choudary said. "I must have hatred to everything that is not Muslim."
..... As Pat Condell says in his video, "Saying you can falsely equate Islam with violence is like saying you can falsely equate Disney with Mickey Mouse."
So, shouldn't Muslims who are indeed truly moderate - condemn the words and actions and teachings of Islamists, and be at least as incensed over what the "extemists" are doing to the "image" of Islam as non-Muslims are about what Islam is doing to civilization?

Listening to this Jackass speak absolutely made my blood boil. We need to ask ourselves: why do we give them the avenue and the opportunity to voice their propaganda and spew their hatred of Westerners and Western society? "ONLY Muslims are innocent" .. "ALL Muslims are innocent" .. "I will support my Muslim brethren, whether they are the oppressors or the oppressed" .. Those are VERY powerful statements made by this Ignorant and Delusional man. There is NO WAY to appease these people. They have made the expansion of Islam and the destruction of everything that is NOT Islam, as their ONLY goal. We need to open our eyes to this reality. The War on Terror will be a long, hard fought battle. People need to be informed about what's at stake. We cannot sit on our hands and say "if i don't do anything to offend these people, they'll have no reason to hate us." .. that argument means nothing .. they've been born and bred to HATE .. it's all that they know. They will not moderate their views and are willing to die for what they believe in .. regardless of how ridiculous their view of the World may be.

Remember, this guy Choudary is a lawyer, a supposedly "educated" man.
As with so many Muslims like him, he seems to be most educated on hate, and little else. Given the words and actions of so many Muslims like him throughout the world, how can any reasonable, logical, rational human being not associate violence, hate, and intolerance with Islam?
It's up to so-called "moderate" Muslims to do something besides always playing the victim card and actually do something about the dominant form of Islam we are seeing today - violent jihad/hate/intolerance/pursuit of world domination over other religions. Unquestionably, if Muslims don't want to be branded extremists and followers of a violent, intolerant, hate-filled, theofascist ideology, they need to prove otherwise.
And as far as appeasing Islam, that is nothing short of civilizational suicide. It needs to end - now!
