Poll: Most Voters Want McCain To Answer The Red Phone (Update - McCain 'Red Phone' Video)

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Rasmussen Reports finds most voters want John McCain to be the person that answers the phone in the White House when a foreign policy crisis arrived - by substantial margin over Hillary, with Barack Obama almost not even in the running.

Clearly, Senator John McCain is by far the most experienced candidate, and the voters know it. In other words, Hillary's "red phone ad" was more appropriate for John McCain than for her, and as for Obama's ad firing back at Hillary, it was nothing less than - stupid, given the fact that he's likely one of the last politicians in America that Americans want anywhere near that red phone.

And since that "red phone" ad is more appropriate for McCain than Hillary, I'm thinking maybe McCain should have a "red phone" ad of his own.

Say no more. Ed Driscoll has done exactly that - and made it much better.

While we're on the topic of Obama being the last guy in America that Americans should want answering the red phone, check out Curt's piece at Flopping Aces. He's got yet another reason why its scary to think of Obama, the man with few political accomplishments, in the White House - the man is a naive Socialist.
