Where is the Rev. Jackson and Al Sharpton at? When white guys supposely raped a black girl, they were all over the place, but when 2 black thugs kill a white girl we hear nothing from the black community.

I'm no racist - but I believe that most racism today comes not from whites but from Blacks playing the victim card and using the pretense of white racism as an excuse to get out of and take from society much more than some are willing to put in to it. Here, two white girls in the prime of their lives that attended two different universities in two different states, have been murdered by three different Black men two days apart, while taking the lives of these women in the act of taking their money and their bodies.

Look guys, Jackson and Sharpton are advocates. No more or less than Charlton Heston is and advocate for the Gun Industry. Just as Mr. Heston has been wrong for stepping into the the middle of a controversal case involving a gun issue, these two advocate stepped into the middle of a situtation where they were mistaken in their efforts. Now what has Jackson done right? Well let's see:

1. As an Advocate: In 1983, Jackson traveled to Syria to secure the release of a captured American pilot, Navy Lt. Robert Goodman who was being held by the Syrian government. Goodman had been shot down over Lebanon while on a mission to bomb Syrian positions in that country.

3. As an Advocate: He traveled to Kenya in 1997 to meet with Kenyan President Daniel Arap Moi as United States President Bill Clinton's special envoy for democracy to promote free and fair elections.

4. As an Advocate: In April 1999, during the Kosovo War, Jackson traveled to Belgrade to negotiate the release of three U.S. POWs captured on the Macedonia border while patrolling with a UN peacekeeping unit. He met with the then-Yugoslav president Slobodan Milošević, who later agreed to release the three men.

I'm glad this morning that they have captured the second suspect! May they both be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law! I understand the "Spare Us" comment. But do not condem an entire race, and try to soften it with statements of "some are not like that." I also reject, when other hot issue are envolked into a tragic occurrance to spread discord between the races. I thought that I simply responded to diversion from the tragic situtation as hand, which was, and is, the Carson case. Uzza, it's good to see that we all agree on the topic at hand; I'll skirt the issue of Jackson for now, so we can all enjoy the moments of agreement.

As I noted earlier, I blame the cultures that breed contempt for the law, disdain and disregard for human life, lack of compassion, and the general breakdown of civility juxtaposed with regard for the difference between what is right vs. what is wrong.
