'Opining On Race While Being White'

Topics: Political News and commentaries

I can't help but wonder just how supposedly rational people in modern society have allowed themselves to get to the point where we stand today; where as Nancy Morgan writes in her piece titled White Racism, "Blacks, African Americans, or whatever the politically correct nom du jour is, are free to rail against whites - but if a white dares to mention race, the consequences are dire."

Obama and his pastor, as racist as they and anyone that subscribes to, supports, or condones Black liberation theology indeed are, "color" themselves and all Black Americans as victims of White oppression and suppression when in fact, absolutely nothing could be further from the truth. No living White person in America today has ever owned a slave, and the law of the land virtually guarantees not Black racism - but White racism.

As Nancy points out in White Racism, Geraldine Ferraro exercises her first amendment right in suggesting Obama wouldn't be succeeding in the Democratic nomination battle if he weren't black and is politically crucified for it. Under Obama's rules, even his White grandmother is a racist for expressing her fear of strangers who appear threatening and also happened to be, at least in her mind, threatening. If the truth be known, she would have been or is just as afraid of an Arab, a Mexican, an Asian, and another White that happened to be inappropriately dressed for the time and place, acting in a threatening manner, or just hanging out in such a manner as to cause her alarm. Like most Americans - regardless of their "color" - a perceived threat is a perceived threat and the color of one's skin hasn't a damned thing to do with it. However, for Barack Obama, a man who wants to be the next president of the United States, the presidential candidate who claims he's post-racial and transcends race, it is all about race. His eyes are jaundiced by a radical theology and philosophy; he can call Whites racists and "typical White persons," but Whites can't respond or disagree with him (and his racist friends in the Democratic Party), without being called racist.

In other words, Blacks, African Americans, or whatever the politically correct nom du jour is, are free to rail against whites. But if a white dares to mention race, the consequences are dire. Unfortunately, one of the two political parties in the United States, that is one of the only two that matter, has effectively "used" racism for political expedience and allowed it to permeate throughout the Black community and Whites that mean well but are so "touchy-feely" liberal that rational thought escapes them. This has been going on so long that what we now have is legal and acceptable White racism.

Indeed, everything wrong is Whitey's fault (Black theology advocates bear no responsibility - they're "owed."):

[ ...] The Sharptons and the Jacksons have cuckolded two generations of blacks (Blacks?) into white racism. The accepted party line on race is, anything that goes wrong is whitey's fault. Everyone is racist (if you can't see that its because its silent 'institutional' racism). And the only way to be an authentic black is to join the grievance community and make victimhood the defining characteristic of one's being.

... Black racial hucksters have captured the moral high ground based on the suffering of their ancestors. The suffering good Americans acknowledged and corrected, first, by following England's lead in abolishing slavery. Secondly, by accepting responsibility with trillions of dollars in social programs over the last forty-five years. Programs which, by the way, have turned out to have done more harm than good, destroying black families and breeding generations of blacks who know only the entitlement mentality.

... Racial hucksters are encouraging black separatism under the guise of empowerment (as defined by them). Blacks are told they can't be authentic blacks, again, as defined by the hucksters, unless they embrace their own culture. Only thing is, Thomas Sowell, in 'Black Rednecks, White Liberals' proves that what blacks claim as their 'culture' actually originated in Northern England, from what was then called the redneck culture. Not Africa.

[... ] Inconvenient facts are not allowed. The rules stipulate that only blacks can be oppressed, because they have no power. This flies in the face of reality. When the black community has the power to destroy businesses, organizations, and politicians by threatening to brand them racist, I'd call that power. I'd also call it a misuse of power.

America is forced to dance the race dance. To abide by whatever rules the black community decides to sets. Its hard, however, because the rules differ from group to group, depending on skin color. While a white could possibly be jailed for saying nigger, the airwaves are filled with blacks saying nigger. Oh, and when is the last time you heard of a black-on-white 'hate crime'?

The rules stipulate that the barest mention of race is enough to earn the title of racism. Unless you're black. The rules also stipulate that black conservative role models like Thomas Sowell, Condoleeza Rice, Walter Williams, Shelby Steele, Clarence Thomas, etc., are not part of the authentic black community. Colin Powell, a liberal, is.

Read Nancy Morgan's entire piece ....

In Obama's mind - apparently bred into his experiences (Obama's vernacular and expression - not mine), a White woman expressing fears of a stranger is a "typical White person" who, seeing somebody onhttp://www.hyscience.com/mt/mt-static/images/formatting-icons/italic.gif
Italic the street that she doesn't know, is cautious or feels fear because racism has been "bred" into her experiences. And this is a guy that supposedly "transcends" race and is said to be "post-racial"?
