Lauren Burk Murder May have Been Seen by Witnesses
Topics: National NewsAs an update to yesterday's post - Auburn Student Found Fatally Shot, police investigating the murder of Lauren Burk have said they have witnesses and are now aggressively pursuing the killer.
As can be found in the comment section of the post on Eve Carson titled "Second University Student Shot And Killed" (the other murdered coed - murdered at UNC), there are a couple of strange coincidences between the murders of the two coeds. Both coeds have ties to Georgia. Athens (Eve Carson) is not far all that far from the Atlanta suburb of Marrieta (Lauren Burk), and both were shot in the head.
Happenstance, maybe. Nonetheless, strange coincidences, especially considering that they were shot in the head only a day apart - about 500 miles apart.
