Where's Global Warming When We Need It?

Topics: Global Warming

It's nothing but snow, snow, and more snow in the north. And I'm freezing my butt off down in Florida. As J.J. Jackson says at ACD: "It is almost like God herself is playing games with the radical enviro-Marxists."

Damned! Just when I was all set to enjoy more warmth with Al's promised global warming, now we got this guy saying it's time to stock up on fur coats and felt boots:

Habibullah Abdusamatov, head of the Pulkovo Observatory space research laboratory, say that Earth has passed the peak of its warmer period, and a fairly cold spell will set in quite soon, by 2012. Real cold will come when solar activity reaches its minimum, by 2041, and will last for 50-60 years or even longer.
And to think they gave Al Gore a Nobel prize for being as wrong about global warming as he was about his having invented the Internet.

Funny thing; Via the above link we see that Al's no more write than some scientists and the media that continues to make hay on Al's playing out of Chicken Little's, "The sky is falling."

A year ago, British meteorologists made headlines predicting that the buildup of greenhouse gases would help make 2007 the hottest year on record. At year's end, even though the British scientists reported the global temperature average was not a new record -- it was actually lower than any year since 2001 -- the BBC confidently proclaimed, "2007 Data Confirms Warming Trend."
