Honor killings to begin 2008

Topics: Dhimmitude, Eurabia, Human Interest

Since the beginning of the New Year we have had several worrying news about men killing women belonging to their families, due to Islamic honor or Hindu castes.

First there was the story of the Said sisters, who were allegedly killed by their father, 50-year-old Yaser Abdel Said. Both girls, 18 and 17-years-old, were found dead, with several shots, in their father's taxi. He has not been seen since and police is searching for him.

Both of them were fully integrated girls in society, with non-Muslim boyfriends and who arose sympathy in their school. Their father on the other hand, was not integrated in US society, critisized normally the popular US ways and wanted them to go back to Egypt and begin a "new" life there where they could be married to a Muslim Egyptian man.
During the 4 years their mother was ill, they were not allowed to see her. But when he was comatose, they were to promise their mother, that if he killed them, they will not have a Muslim funeral. They did have a Baptist funeral, but later they had a Muslim funeral and were buried as Muslims.

In Chicago there was another honor killing, this time by Indian native and supposedly Hindu believer Subhash Chander, who killed his pregnant daugter, his son-in-law and their 3-year-old son in a fire which took three hours to extinguish. The reasons he gave was that her daughter has married a man from a lower caste without asking for his consent.

In Jordan a father killed his 30-year-old daughter because she "regularly disappeared for several days" and she was preventing her from leaving.

In Australia, a woman found his 13-year-old daughter strangled and his husband who had committed suicide after allegedy killing their daughter. The distraught woman cried she "is my only hope" and after fainted. Police said that there were not apparent religious motives in the crime, but the Iranian origins can prove otherwise.

Lastly, in Great Britain, they are judging 25-year-old Shazad Khan for killing his 19-year-old girlfriend, who was "imported" from Pakistan in yet one another arranged mariage. He kicked and pushed her for over three weeks, causing her bruises in 90% of her body. Police said they have only seen those things in the victims of car crashes.

In all of these cases, there are some important things in common: basically, the religious background, which leads to consider the woman as a property of the family, and an absolute lack of protection as the Western powers are afraid to intervene to avoid being considered as racists -what would that have to do with it?- or against the absolutely failed multiculturalism. In the case of Jordan, the situation is worse, because the killers normally are very lightly sentenced.

Racist for interfering? ? ? You've got to be kidding, right? That's like saying that if someone wants to kill me they are free to do it as long as the killer is the same race or ethnic group as me. In that case, it would be racist to interfere.

I'm sure such nitpicking makes little difference to someone who is losing their life. A woman whose life was saved wouldn't think it racist to save them, even though the activities of her people were interfered with.

Multiculturalism shouldn't require tolerance of murder or human rights abuses.
