The Good That Bush Does Will Live After - His Presidency

Topics: Political News and commentaries

After raising hell about the possibility that Bush may have traded the security of Israel and the West in exchange for Iran refraining from the proxy murder of U.S. troops in Iran and its refraining from stirring up civil war among Iraqis, I quess it's only appropriate that I point to his positive accomplishments. As Jules Crittenden says, "Bush could sprout dahlias from odd places and not get credit for it, but in the end, it will be results that matter." And the fact is, Bush has some serious accomplishments that are worthy of mention (to the chagrin of the Democrats).

And although he's unlikely to be given any credit for his accomplishments during his time in office, as Mark Anthony put it more than a few years ago, the good he's done will surely live after his presidency (okay, so what that Anthony had it the other way around - but it's only his evil that people already think about him).
