'Teddy Bear' Teacher Receives Pardon
Topics: Understanding IslamAlthough in fact she did absolutely nothing wrong in the first place, Gillian Gibbons, the British teacher who faced forty lashings and was ultimately sentenced to incareration for allowing her students to name a teddy bear "Mohammed," has been granted a full pardon and, with transportation already standing by, is expected to be leaving Sudan rather promptly.
