Why Do We Allow The Saudis To Build Mosques In America When No Churches Are Allowed In Saudi Arabia?
Topics: Understanding IslamAs you might recall, Saudi Arabia, home of Wahhabism - a fiercely fundamentalist form of orthodox Sunni Islam, was home to 15 of the 19 Sept. 11 hijackers, as well as their leader, Osama bin Laden. You should also recall that one of the key findings of the 9/11 Commission Report was that "Education that teaches tolerance, the dignity and value of each individual, and respect for different beliefs is a key element in any global strategy to eliminate Islamist terrorism."
Yet of the more than 1,200 mosques in America, more than 80 percent have been built within the last 20 years - thanks in large part to Saudi money:
"Saudi Arabia alone has spent $87 billion since 1973 to spread Islam throughout the United States and the Western hemisphere," ...It is through the funding of mosques, Islamic centers and their operations, Saudi Arabia is exporting the Wahhabist ideology. It is not unusual to find that the presiding cleric in any given mosque within the United States is a Wahhabist and that his teachings have been sanctioned and financed by the Saudi government and vetted by the Muslim Brotherhood.
As Frank Salvato points out in his piece at CNSNews.com, we in the West -- and especially in the United States -- must immediately seek out a greater understanding of not only the basic elements of the threat of radical Islam, but also the extent to which it has already infiltrated our society. If we continue to remain ignorant of the facts surrounding this very real war against our way of life, we will lose our nation with nary a shot being fired. (Take home message: radical Islamists = Islamofascists = Wahhabis).
Keep in mind that all radical Islamists (Islamofascists), are not Wahhabis - many are Shiites (also see - Iran, Terrorism, and Weapons of Mass Destruction.)
All this brings me to note that when the Vatican often asks why church construction is banned in Saudi Arabia while Muslims can build mosques in Europe, the Vatican does indeed have a point. And for us to continue to allow the Saudis to propagate Wahabbist-influenced mosques throughout America - teaching against tolerance and the dignity and value of each individual, is more than nuts, its civilizational and cultural suicide.

Post's point makes sense to me. But what does the non-lefty/non-righty shit have to do with the Saudis not allowing churches in Saudiland while the West accomodates the Wahhabist mosques?
Not a damned thing! Sounds like non-L/non-R is in fact either missing the point entirely or is far too much a lefty to understand. Not to get personal here, but sounds as though dotmafia has a shade of bias of his/her own.....
