Annapolis: An Exercise In Futility?
Topics: Middle East News and PerspectivesWhile I see Annapolis as "a colossal waste of time," except for the fact that it pisses off Iran and Hamas, Jules Crittenden sees it as "a meaningful step toward peace in someone else's time" and believes that it might amount to something.
I hope Jules is right and I'm wrong. My problem with Annapolis is that it can be successful only if the Palestinians, Syrians, Iranians, Hamas, and Hezbollah can ever get passed hating the "evil Jooozzz," and being committed to the destruction of Israel - and that will never happen.
Or could it. There have been voices of reason in the past.
