More Terrorists Being Sought In Germany

I can't help but wonder how many more will turn out to be converts to the "religion of peace." What sick logic and insanity drives one to kill in the name of their religion!

As Robert Spencer puts it as we learn that Germany is now searching for 10 more terror suspects, "a whole lotta converts" have apparently misunderstood their religion:

(Via the AP) German authorities were searching Thursday for about 10 suspected supporters of an Islamic group linked to al-Qaida believed to have assisted three militants arrested for plotting imminent attacks against Americans in Germany, an official said.

Authorities believed "some 10" further suspects provided support to the two German converts and a Turkish citizen who were arrested Tuesday, August Hanning, a top security official, told the ARD broadcaster.

"This is the network that we are aware of at the moment," Hanning said, adding that authorities believe the splintered cell -- which includes more converted Germans, Turks and other citizens -- no longer poses a direct security threat.

The three arrested suspects had military-style detonators and enough material to make bombs more powerful than those that killed 191 people in Madrid in 2004 and 52 commuters in London two years ago, prosecutors said Wednesday.

"We were able to succeed in recognizing and preventing the most serious and massive bombings," German Federal Prosecutor Monika Harms said at a news conference Wednesday. She declined to name specific targets.

As is pointed out in the Guardian today, until yesterday, German conservatives had a hard time convincing anybody that their country could be the target of a terrorist attack. Now, however, Germans are waking up to the fact that their country's "principled opposition to the war in Iraq" isn't now and never was a get out of jail free card when it comes to radical Islamist terrorist plots. Even worse, two of the three suspects arrested yesterday in connection with the attempt to blow up Ramstein airbase and Frankfurt airport were white Muslim converts.

By the way, the three terrorist suspects arrested in Germany yesterday were losers from the very beginning. All three suspects were unemployed and on state benefits, and were, in fact, working only to destroy the hand that feeds them by attacking Americans that help feed the economy that provides the taxes that pay for the money they got for doing nothing but become Islamic extremists and plot terror!
