Illegal Alien In Chicago Church 'Finally' Deported (Updated)Topics: Immigration and Border Issues
[Image: Elvira Arellano, 32, became an activist and a national symbol for illegal immigrant parents as she defied her deportation order and spoke out from her "sanctuary" (AP)]
Finally, after an absurdly long delay, that illegal immigrant who took refuge in a Chicago church for a year to avoid being separated from her U.S.-born son has been deported to Mexico. And although the AP chooses to refer to her as an "activist," someone that has entered our country illegally is nothing less than a criminal. The illegal alien can "act" all she wants and the AP can frame it to support illegal immigration all it wants, but absolutely nothing can change the fact that the illegal alien has entered our country, and stayed, illegally, and is therefore illegal. That's criminal. And that's simply all there is to it.
My only thought on the matter is that it's about time, and had she not been in the country illegally in the first place, there would never have been an issue of her being separated from her American-born child. Furthermore, she could have and should have simply gone back to where she came from and taken her child with her.
Why is it that someone can sneak into the U.S. illegally, avoid all the red tape and costs that legal immigrants have in the past and continue to this day endure, yet have their children become American citizens? It isn't racism to state facts, and the facts are that most of the illegal aliens in our country are Mexicans who've sneaked across our border like cockroaches, and who stay here and multiply with similar frequency. Most immigrants come into this country legally, apply to stay, and go through the painful process of doing it the right and legal way, yet far too many Mexicans think they deserve special treatment.
Well, they don't, but you wouldn't think that was the case from the number of illegal aliens in the U.S. that are from Mexico.
More than 10 million illegal immigrants are thought to live in the United States, and the overwhelming majority are Hispanic; most are from Mexico.
A new report from the Pew Hispanic Center examines where and how these undocumented immigrants live and work.Of course, putting all the blame on the Mexicans and Mexico just isn't fair. Much, if not most, of the blame rests squarely on the U.S. government and the Bush administration that has steadfastly refused to enforce the laws of our land.
Among the key findings:
-- Most illegal immigrants live in families where the adults are undocumented, but the children are U.S.-born. An estimated 13.9 million people -- including 4.7 million children -- live in families in which the head of household or the spouse is an unauthorized immigrant.
-- Illegal immigrants continue to outpace the number of legal immigrants -- a trend that's held steady since the 1990s. While the undocumented continue to concentrate in places with existing large communities of Hispanics, they are also increasingly settling throughout the rest of the country.

Good riddance! About time!!!
It's was a travesty in the first place that we allowed this Mexican illegal alien woman become the poster child for the "bleeding heart" open borders, unfettered illegal immigration, let's give not only the American Southwest but the whole of the United States back to Mexico,
"Aztlan", "Reconquista", "browning of America" crowd, and let her and those sheltering and exploiting her for their own vested interest mock our laws, and thumb their noses with brazen impunity for months at the politically correct, emasculated , hand-wringing, wuzzified Immigration and Customs Enforcement arm of our "Department of Homeland Insecurity and Mexican Naturalization by Osmosis" led by that paragon of ineptitude, the incomparable Michael Jerkoff, who was appointed to the post by that icon of all Mexican illegal aliens: "Bush, El Presidente"!
It was a greater travesty that the church where she ensconced herself would have been even allowed to falsely claim "Sanctuary" for her, when it's claim was bogus, since is not even affiliated to the Roman Catholic Church - the only Church which historically granted "Sanctuary"
during the heyday of its "temporal power" (when it had teeth to enforce it) in Mediaeval times!
What is an even greater travesty is that we allowed this woman to leave her "anchor baby" behind to be able to use him as a "foot in the door" with which to wiggle herself back into the US! Mother and son should not have been separated,
and her son sent back with his mother - as well he should - back where they both belong - back to Mexico!
It is high time we close this "anchor babies" loophole that all these illegal Mexican aliens use and abuse to stay here illegally, and to eventually swarm us with busloads of their family members and other relations brought legally into the country on pretext of "family reunification" on account of the domino effect set off by just one "anchor baby", and simply strick all anchor babies of their citizenship once and for all!
If your parents are here illegally you should not be automatically an American citizen for the incidental fact of having been born within our borders, but a national of your parent's country of origin - especially when most of these women, once here, get pregnat for no other reason - or point their crotches over our southern fence, when in labor, so that the baby plops unto American soil. And Presto! We have another
