Ayaan Hirsi Ali says the western world would be wise to recognize the realities of Islam, and refers to it as a religion laid down in writing over a millennium ago with violence and oppression at its heart.
Although some will disagree with her view, nonetheless, she seems to have much to say and describes five types of Muslims. In her piece, she points to two of the five and says that it is from them that progress and reform will come.
