Dems Still Fighting The Wrong Enemy In All The Wrong Places

If only the Democrats devoted half as much energy and time in legislation aimed at fighting our enemy as they used in fighting the administration and the Republicans, our country would be much farther along in defeating the radical Islamists throughout the world, and especially in Iraq.

Take for example today's exercise in wasting time and energy: Democratic Censure Resolutions Would Condemn Bush, Cheney Over War, Wiretap Plans.

"We understand that some Democrats in Congress don't support the president's plans to keep the country safe and prosperous. At the same time, we welcome the opportunity to work with members on important legislation to fund our troops who are in harm's way, make us less reliant on foreign sources of energy, to make health care more affordable, and extend tax relief to America's families and businesses," spokesman Scott Stanzel told FOX News.

"Perhaps after calls for censure and more investigations Congress may turn to the important issues we face as a nation," he said.

Here we are in the middle of the greatest threat to western civilization in centuries, facing a global enemy committed to our destruction, yet the Democrats see attacking the administration to be far more important than working toward defeating the radical Islamists and their supporting nation states that want to kill us.
