San Diego Padres Display 'Gay Pride' For 'Family Day'Topics: Gay Agenda
Not even an afternoon at a baseball game apparently is going to be safe anymore for parents who want to protect their children from advocates for homosexuality, as the San Diego Padres confirm their July 8 game will simultaneously offer free caps to attract children, and a formal recognition of the area's homosexual organization.
So much for family values and the promotion thereof!

That is totally uncalled for by the San Diego Padres, and just another "politically correct" outrage such as Disney's "Gay Days" of French-kissing-tongue twisitng bearded males spectacle in front of hapless five-year-olds in the Magic Kingdom!
Would it be a pun to say that what the San Diego Padres did "IS GAY"?!?!

I am outraged that the San Diego Padres promoted a "Gay Day" at Petco Park! A Major League Baseball Game is supposed to be family oriented. Most parents don't want their children exposed to this type of environment at a ballgame. The San Diego Padre Organization knows not everyone behaves in an appropriate manner. THIS WAS A "DUMB" IDEA BY THE SAN DIEGO PADRES MANAGEMENT.

KUDOS to the PADRES for having open hearts and welcoming everyone to enjoy baseball!! What are you so afraid of? So the idea that sporting events support all people and famlies from different alternative backgrounds is scary? Why? If you celebrate one, you should celebrate all...after all, GOD doesnt make mistakes, right?? If you condem gays, why dont you condem unwed mothers and people having sex out of wedlock? After all, arent they all EQUAL sins???
SUPPORT LOVE NOT HATE!!

Are you people IGNORANT?? Do you honestly think that all gay people do nothing but run around naked, make out and have sex? I have news for you...you probably know many gay men and women and dont even realize it. I would bet that if they were not wearing something identifying at PETCO park, you wouldnt even be able to tell gay from straight. GOOD JOB PADRES MANAGEMENT for having the courage to support!!
GET EDUCATED and stop the ignorance...gay people are just people...

Well, the event has been here and gone. The Gay Men's choir sang the National Anthem (THEIR nation as well as yours, remember), kids got their floppy caps, the announcement about Pride Week went up on the board and children have not been traumatized, Petco Stadium has not been struck by a retributory bold of lighting and....
The much-ballyhooed boycott totally fizzled; the game had a close to sellout crowd. Maybe people in this country are slowly but surely getting indoor plumbing in their heads.
