And although Fred Thompson hasn't even announced that he's running, a new Rasmussen Report poll shows that former Senator Fred Thompson trails Hillary Rodham Clinton by only 3 points. When he enters the race on July 4th (expected) he'll be trailing the top three Democratic candidates by 3 to 10 points. A good start, but still a ways to go.
