I have no freakin' clue as to what the hell these people are saying, or if they are in fact in L.A. But I do know this is the kind of self flagellation I've seen in Iraq. In this video they act and look like they're in some kind of trance.

If these people are actually in L.A., what in the hell are they doing in America? Scary thoughts.

Whatever happened to the idea of assimilation and when in Rome ..... etc. ?

Here's a web page on the Shi'a's self flagellation. The site blames it on the British; somehow or another they forgot to blame it on Bush. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page you'll see images just like you see in the video. Shi'ite Muslims in Iraq were unable to do this for 30 years, until the U.S. liberated them from Saddam Hussein. (How did Julia Roberts put it in "Pretty Woman" in the boutique where she was snubbed by the staff? "Big mistake. Big. Huge !)

For this and many other reasons, all related to Shi'ite extremism, as a former CIA analyst has said, "If Iraq fails, we're toast"!
