Immigration Deal A Disaster In The Making

As the Washington Times has it, the immigration deal is a disaster for national security, for keeping Islamist jihadists out of the country, for exploding the costs of Social Security, for Medicare and Medicaid, for preserving the rule of law, and for that quaint principle called national sovereignty.
This brings me to the suggestion of the day, which comes from Jed Babbin at Human Events Online: Make the Immigration Bill another "Miers Moment" for President Bush.
