Breaking On Fox: Terrorism In Las Vegas? (Updated)
Topics: National NewsJust coming across on Fox: A backpack has exploded in the parking garage of the Luxor Hotel. At least one man has been killed:
LAS VEGAS -- Fox News is reporting that an explosion in the parking garage at the Luxor Hotel and Casino has killed one person.Developing ...Police say the incident took place at 4 a.m. and that it appears to be a homicide. Federal authorities are on the scene to investigate.
Apparently two employees found the backpack on top of their car, attempted to move it, and it exploded.
Nothing more at this time is being reported and it is not presently being identified as an attempted attack of any kind. But one does have to wonder what moron would put explosives in a backpack and take it to a hotel.
Update: Officials are saying that the victim appears to have been the intended target.
Police say the blast was not a terrorist act, just an apparent slaying with an unusual murder weapon. However, Michelle has a couple of flashbacks worth noting.
