To All:
To what the victim refers is the smell of gunpowder and blood. He will never forget it.
Whenever large numbers of people are killed by concentrated gunfire, this particular stench permeates their entire battlefield.
And, contrary to Oliver Stone's glamorization, it does not smell like victory. It smells like what it is: Death.
With Aloha,

THE CHALLENGE OF VT MASSACRE.
As a mother, I weep and pray for the big family of Virginia Tech/ and individual families in this period of grief. As a University lecturer in a big Nigerian University like VT with over 26 thousand students and in a small town (Ile Ife) like Blacksburg, I keep imagining what happened that Monday morning. It could happen in my University. With somber mind, I have learnt a lot of lessons..... watching my students beyond the teacher- student interaction. I mourn, weep and groan with you all. Remember, behind every dark cloud is a silver lining. LET US WEEP BUT NOT DESPAIR, LIFT UP YOUR EYES AND WINGS TO CATCH UP WITH THE JOY THAT WILL COME AFTER THIS. THIS IS A CHALLENGE TO US ALL AS WE WALK THROUGH THE VARIOUS VALLEYS OF LIFE. The world is watching and praying for you ALL. I LOVE UUU ALL. God bless You.
