The Imus Flap
Topics: Political News and commentariesI'm tired of all the flap over Imus's comment.
For the most part, its hate mongers making political hay out of the blaberings of a shock-jock that I never liked, and never watched, and have always wondered who in the hell even cared about what this idiot said or didn't say. But hell, in America, the dumb ass has every right to say what he wants to.Imus has every right to say whatever he wants to say at any time, and we should all embrace his right to free and unfettered speech," just like that fat, lesbian, idiot Rosy O'Donnell, and an endless list of other fools. And at the same time, his employer and his sponsors have every right to make business decisions and consider whether his dribble is consistent with their image and what they have to sell. So I would think that we'd all had enough of this Imus flap already and get over the constant debate about it.
However, regardless how I and surely others as well feel about the flap, apparently the media the race-card players, the race baiter's, and the racial dividers have other ideas. Some would say the debate is just beginning, to which I'd reply that if it has to be, let it be in the common sense manner described by Scott Galupo at The Washington Times.

Well said and to the point, Richard! Except that it seems that while all employers and sponsors have every right to make business decisions and consider whether the dribble spewed on the programs they produce and sponsor is consistent with their image and what they have to sell, apparently some dribble, as the cynicism goes, is "more equal than others", since it seems that fat idiot lesbians get away with saying any outrages they well please consistently and with impunity - and these employers and sponsors look the other way - while other senile insensitive idiots are immediately hung out to dry for what many would consider a lesser transgression.
But I wholeheartedly agree that we'd all had enough of this Imus flap already, and we should get over the constant demagoguery about it. The man is gone, and who knows, maybe we'll all get lucky, and while hanging upside down like a moonbat, Rosie will fall and break her neck!
