Pelosi And The Dems: Seeking A Separate Peace?
Topics: Middle East News and Perspectives
(Image: "President Pelosi"? - No, but she wrongly believes she has a mandate to act like one. The extent of damage this "lady" is doing to our security by emboldening our enemy, is downright scary)
An editorial at the NY Sun reminds us that at Casablanca, Roosevelt and Churchill decided "that no peace would be concluded except on the basis of 'unconditional surrender.'" Roosevelt wanted "to assure the people of all the fighting nations that no separate peace negotiations would be carried on with representatives of Fascism and Nazism and there would be no compromise of the war's idealistic objectives." Unlike Roosevelt and Churchill, "Speaker" Pelosi has no qualms about a separate peace, regardless of the consequences to the U.S. and Israel. To her, domestic politics comes first.
Although Pelosi and her peacenik entourage may deny it, clearly the political whore, though she may deny anything like having a separate peace in mind, is essentially doing so while playing domestic politics at Israel's expense and facilitating a different kind of "unconditional surrender" than Roosevelt and Churchill had in mind. They sought the surrender of our enemy, whereas Pelosi seeks to surrender us TO our enemy.
And as the political whore Pelosi was preparing to leave Jerusalem for Damascus, the chief of Israel's military intelligence, Major General Yadlin, told the Cabinet that Iran, Syria, and Hezbollah are making defensive preparations for war this summer.
To this reality, Pelosi and her ilk will continue to remain clueless...

It is so appropriate that you should bring up the summit in Casablanca, since Pelosi landing in Damascus is more like a Rudolph Hess landing surreptitiously in Scotland in 1941 trying to negotiate a separate peace with the Reich, than a Roosevelt or a Churchill determinbed to carry on the fight and achieve victory for the free peoples of the world!
Ironic isn't it, they call us conservatives
"Nazis" and yet they are the ones acting like them: "Sieg Heil, Pelosi Hess!"
