I Really Dig Alanis Morissette

So when Egyptian Sandmonkey (who really does hate Black Eyed Peas) pointed to this video that I hadn't seen before, I couldn't help but put it up.

While I'm putting up music videos, and although I'm far from being a music guru so my opinion isn't worth much, stylistically, Alanis' singing reminds me of the great Janis Joplin's doubled harmonies - multiple octaves:

And speaking of multiple octaves reminds me of the absolute greatest - the incredible, to me almost mystical voice of Yma Sumac, said to have sung in 5 octaves and who had a voice range that could send chills up your spine :
