How the Media Partnered With HezbollahTopics: Dhimmitude
"The Harvard Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy, hardly a bastion of neocon wingnut thinking, has issued a paper that absolutely skewers the media for their outrageously biased and terrorist-enabling behavior."
Charles at LGF suggests that perhaps Harvard's Cautionary Report will be a little harder for them to ignore. So be sure to catch all of the "must read," "How the Media Partnered With Hezbollah: Harvard's Cautionary Report," via LGF....

This is nothing new. Even as the "Mainstream Media" was reporting from Beirut, I commensted in some of my posts at the time how Anderson Cooper of CNN seemed a "Universal Studios Tour Guide" more than a journalist, and that the staged and selectively shot reportages he transmitted from Beirut's Hezbollah headquarters, under Hezbollah supervision seemed more like "Hezbollah's
CNN Studios: The Ride" than journalism!
In order to get into Hezbollah dominated Beirut and make the reportages and the ratings, the media simply sold its souls to the terrorists, and became but their tools of propaganda!
I suppose they did not find this "distasteful" becasue in their kind of amoral, sensationalism driven, scandal mongering, it's no holds barred and anything goes to get the ratings, and because, after all, they sympathize with the Islamist terrorists and are biased against Israel - which to them is but an appendage of the United States in their leftist view.
In one of the shots I saw, a young man, one of the supposed dead victims being recovered from the rubble on a litter in some pictures, alive and well and carrying the same litter, at the same locale, with someone else on it in another batch of pictures!
On another video, an injured dying man being carried on a stretcher in front of the cameras, with all the women crying and wailing all around him, got up as if by a miracle after the shot had been taken and the women had stopped crying, and started to walk away non chalantly unaware the camera was still rolling. When he noticed his goof-up he sat back on the stretcher and resumed his former dying posture! A miracle? Some would say Jesus was verily there bringing all these dead people back to life!
Many wools were pulled over our eyes by the media during that conflict, unbelievably in cohoots with the Hezbollah, and much of the devastation, gore, and bloodshed shown on CNN and other news outlets was simply staged and manufactured.
And what is even more incredible, after all the pounding the Israelis gave Hezbollah, virtually destroying its infrastructure all throughout Beirut, it was the media which unilaterally declared Hezbollah the winners in the conflict, handing the terrorist group an emboldening PR victory! Simply unbelievable!
