After sending in these Marines to put their lives on the line for our country and face death surrounded as they are by barbaric Islamist savages that kill hundreds of civilians every day, have their women strap themselves with explosives and blow themselves up at police stations and markets in Baghdad routinely, and have a 12 year-old boy cut-off the head of a man in front of the cameras for all the world to see - to then second-guess the split-second decision of these Marines, and have them be accused of "murder" by a bunch of overzealous Monday Morning Quaterbacking " REMF pogey bait desk monkeys working in the 5 sided out house half a world away from the battle," is stabbing them in the back.

And this has been done by those who are disengaged from the stark realities of what our soldiers were facing at the time in the heat of battle, in the context of answering to "political pressures," in order to placate our Arab allies, radical Muslim groups like CAIR, and public opinion. This has been not only a travesty, and perilously dangerous to our troops, but absolutely traitorous.

These young men found themselves in such situation because we put them there to defend us in the first place. I do not know if they are guilty or not of the charges brought against them, but if even the most hardened criminal or murderer in our streets is given the "presumption of innocence until proven guilty" in our courts of law, and the terrorist-loving Democrats pour their liberal "bleeding hearts" anguishing over the rights of murderous Jihadist enemy combatants detained at Guantanamo, the least we could do for these young Marines is to accord them the same courtesy, let the Military Courts take their course, and determine their innocence or culpability!

My purpose here is to denounce the appalling responses that the, one would suppose, "good news" that the Haditha Marines may be exonerated, elicited from the far-left crowd, the anti-war America-haters, and the Bush-bashing Democratic loon "commies" commenting on Dan's post. Take for example some of the unbelievably spiteful and callous comments made after I had remarked how shameful it was the way these Marines have been prejudged in the media in the first place, by Murtha, and by his "cut-and-run," "lose the war at all costs," "Al-Qademocrats," and how it now seems that apparently they were railroaded by overzealous military prosecutors answering to political correctness pressures:

Some times it almost seems as if some sinister MoveOn.org trolls are the ones making all these outrageous statements on the thread; their attack is too coordinated and consorted to be the random result of independent leftist loons commenting!

But what is really telling of their abhorrent bias and prejudice against our troops, even with the mounting evidence that these Haditha Marines may be innocent, and may be the scapegoats for an overzealous prosecution bowing to please Iraqi and Muslim "sensitivities," are the echoes of Murtha and his traitorous Democratic ilk, which resound in that last paragraph betraying the true animus of this America-haters: "...those guys are definitely guilty of a crime or there wouldn't be a trial." No words can express the angst and the outrage! It is enough to make anyone who truly loves our country in spite of its flaws, and that supports our brave young men and women in our military - our sons and daughters - in these most difficult times we live in, in this war, and in this conflict for our very survival thrust upon us by the ignominy of 9/11...weep!

How is it possible that fellow Americans would hate the young men and women in our military with such vitriolic hated, and wish them so much ill and failure - even emboldening our enemies, by stating like Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has that "the war is lost," intimating to Al-Qaeda and the insurgents that if they hang in there they will soon win, when Congress surrenders and our troops are forced to retreat in humiliation and defeat?

How is it possible that the leftists and the Democrat traitors amongst us so vehemently defend and fight for the "rights" of the fanatical murderers of those very same young American soldiers in the battlefield to whom they would deny the presumption of innocence until proven guilty, whom they despise, call "murderers," and "baby killers," burn their effigies in protest, and spit on them when coming back home at airports? How even in the recesses of our darkest nightmares is that conceivably possible, yet true?

How is it possible, so much ire, derision, and hatred, so much contempt, and revulsion, from these venomous leftist spawns of hell in our midst poisoning us, that yet call themselves "patriots" and "Americans" while vilifying and denigrating - with their mouths full of rich and varied foods, in their air-conditioned prosperity, and in the pampered comfort of their "ennui" - those members of our military, who, sacrificing themselves, away from their loved ones in forsaken lands, enduring privation and hardships, and facing death every day, have answered the call to duty, and are fighting and risking their lives so that such worthless "wormtongues" here back home, may have the freedom to savage them, revile them, and repudiate them, while they keep enjoying their unmerited, privileged, lives?

In their perverted and oblique view, these "Elitist" vermin see our Heroes in the military as just losers, "too stupid" to realize that if they enlist, and go fight for their "Imperialist" and "corrupt" "oppressive" country, and for "Bush's War," that they should expect "justifiably" to be shot and killed by the Islamofacist terrorists and insurgent "Freedom Fighters," whose country we are "wrongfully invading" and are trying to "enslave," much as we "exploit" the "proletariat," and the "poor and downtrodden peoples of the earth." Simply nauseating!

In their sick-ideology-induced perception, to them our soldiers are but pawns of an "Evil Facist Regime," the "hated" Bush Administration, and thus "complicit."

To them our young men and women serving in Iraq, are but "mass murderers," "baby killers" who "terrify innocent women and children in the middle of the night," who "rape virgins and shoot old men in the back of the head," and who but follow blindly the "dark mandates" of Vice President Cheney to "kill as many innocent Iraqi and Afghani civilians as possible," who empower a government that "persecutes" loving and peaceful law-abiding Muslims here at home, "denies them their rights" and "imprisons and tortures them gratuitously," and the wishes to do away with our "civil liberties," "our freedoms," and with "due process"!

For that these far-left cretins, these anti-war, anti-military, hate-America, liberal secularist, Democrat traitors, though many will not openly say it and do lip service to claims of supporting our troops in public, perceive our soldiers as meriting their contempt, and deserving of the ill fate, that in their eyes, they have foolishly chosen by having enlisted and elected to serve our country! As in San Francisco, to these despicable and delusional peaceniks, in their perfect "best of all possible secularist worlds," there is no need for our military, and it should be done away with altogether! America and our military is what is wrong with the world!

Amazing! This is the sad result of forty years of secularist, morally relativistic, multi-culturalist indoctrination, in our schools, our media, and all through our society, and it is heart-rending! That we have come to this as a nation!

And to think that so many foreigners risk their lives to come into our country- even illegally - seeking a better life and the "American Dream," that these vermin, these abominations, these malcontents and "Rebels Without a Cause," amongst us; these illusory ideologue leftist proponents and sympathizers of the archaic failures that Marxism and socialism have been proven to be - at the cost of much tyranny, want, and human suffering; these "haters" willing to betray their people and their country, have yet the gall and audacity to call themselves "patriots" and "Americans"! It is shameful! Such traitors to our Republic and what it stands for, to our military in a time of war, and to the proud Heritage of our American way of life they so despise, ought to have their American citizenship stricken from them, and be exiled from our country. Their citizenship should be granted in turn to those who treasure the promise of America and are willing to defend it! To so many others who risk their lives, and suffer much, struggling to get to this great nation in hopes of the better life, of the prosperity, and of the freedom these traitors take for granted and so disdain; many of whom are far worthier than they are!

These traitors in our midst are an affront to their fathers before them, America's Greatest Generation, which so valiantly and selflessly fought in WWII and Korea, their grandparents who forged with the sweat of their brows, the callouses of their hands, and the blood they shed to defend it, this great nation they seem to abhor in their self-centered hedonism and their blind leftist ideologies.

They are but a spine at our side, an embarrassment to their forebears, and a mounting danger to our nation. They are the worst of all possible "Fifth Columns." Their treasonous actions, their self loathing, partisan pettiness, and mendacity, speak volumes! And as before with Vietnam, at this, our time of greatest peril and need, when their sacrifice and patriotism is most called for, again they show their sinister true colors - even such as they wore when waving the Viet Cong flag of our enemies on the steps of our Capitol on our sacred and sovereign ground in the days of their youths - they once again betray us! They are the worst of all enemies...the enemies in our midst: "...against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC..."
