The House's Ottoman Agenda

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Just when I thought the House had learned from their first non-binding resolution, another Democrat cranks up on another resolution that's even more ridiculous and damaging than the first one - "a non-binding House resolution describing a "genocide" in the Ottoman Empire beginning in 1915 has the potential to explode U.S. relations with Turkey, sway the outcome of upcoming Turkish elections and spill over into several other strategic American interests, including Iraq and Iran."

It can be argued that the Ottoman Empire's actions were in fact genocidal - the Turkish Holocaust.
A Holocaust denying Turkey would have a hard time entering the European union, which IMHO is a good thing.
