Russia And The U.S. Definately Not On The Same Page
Topics: International NewsPutin has given Russians a society of rules, security and predictability at the level of the ordinary man and woman. Russia is not a democracy, but it votes. It does not really have a free media, but it has free speech. Thanks to its energy resources and the rise in energy prices set off by war in the Middle East, it again is a recognized international power. Whatever Russia is now, the Russian people seem comfortable with it.
And as for Western democracy, an overwhelming number of Russians want nothing to do with it.
