Obama's 'Paper Chase' Suggests He May Be Constitutional 'Space Cadet'

Topics: Political News and commentaries

It appears that Barack Obama may have to answer some questions regarding his views from law school about the elasticity of the Constitution. If he does in fact believe that Constitutional law can be approached in the same manner as Einsteinian physics - that the Constitution is relative, as this article suggests, then in application he'd appoint judges who have no problem twisting the Constitution for any purpose they see fit instead of forcing legislative matters back to Congress and the states where they belong, as our founders intended.

Although I'm not a lawyer , this sounds an awful lot like constitutional relativism run amuck, and yet another reason I'd never vote for Obama or any other liberal. It's clear to me from his "spacey" article that like other liberals, Obama believes that activist Supreme Court judges should be encouraged to ignore the original intentions of the nation's forefathers so long as the judges are advancing a left-wing agenda.

However Obama tries to portray himself and his political positions, like Burt Prelutsky puts it in his piece at WorldNetDaily, Obama strikes me as just another snake oil salesman trying to charisma his way into the Oval Office with a smile and a shoeshine.
