Before Babies Land In The Rubbish Bin . . .
Topics: Human InterestGermany's answer to the disturbing problem of infanticide is to have women drop their unwanted babies into "night depositories" and walk away from them. You know, sort of like dropping off books at a library or deposits at a bank.
Although "depositing" an unwanted child is certainly better than killing him or her, surely there must be better methods for mothers to "get rid of" their children. I guess it would be expecting too much for mothers to be responsible enough to actually put their children up for adoption.
Yes, the idea of dropping your child off isn't new, but women that put their own self interests ahead of their children's well being baffle me; it must have something to do with it being so against nature, reason, and human compassion.

Why is everyone so down on Germany for this? Even conservative Texas has had a similar law for five years:

Actually, I'm not down on Germany about this. It's a problem throughout the West, not just Germany. My issue is the mothers themselves. It also says much about our faithless, valueless, societies.

If Roe V. Wade is overturned, you will see a lot more mothers depositing babies. babies that they can't afford to take care of.

Help me understand the reference to Roe vs. Wade here, Happywash, I'm having a little trouble seeing the relationship between women who murder their unborn children and those who choose to give them life and elect to have someone else take care of them instead of killing them after they are born.
No biggy difference to some I guess, except of course to the children.
