And You Thought Barack Obama Defined: "Far-Left of Center"?

And you thought anti-war Presidential wannabe Barack Obama was really far out to the left? Well, guess what, he's not far enough out there in Marx and Lenin's "Lululand" for some of the loons in the Democratic Party!

Fox News just reported this morning that the Junior Senator from Illinois was heckled and booed on his own turf yesterday, at a rally in his support at the University of Illinois, where even farther left than him radical extremists (unbelievable as that may sound) interrupted his speech with chants of "Obama stand up, cut the funding now" referring to the war in Iraq.

It is notable that the black Presidential hopeful lost his cool at a point during all the heckling and the interruptions, apparently could not take the "heat in the kitchen," actually stopped his speech, and stooped to address the hecklers, telling them he was "on their side" and that they had "already made their point" and to "stop and let him finish." The offending radicals were then escorted out of the premises by security personnel. But apparently Obama was ill equipped to handle the pressure of the heckling and chanting from the protesters, which makes you wonder how well can he stand up to the grilling he will inevitably face in the coming months since he's playing with the big boys (and Hillary) now! Prime Minister Howard of Australia, for one, has no problem grilling an uncouth "undiplomatic" Obama, and would just slap him on the "barbie" down under (might even invite a couple of New Guinean neighbors over).

All in all it seems that now that his Honeymoon with the liberal "Elitist" media, which made him their darling, is waning, we are soon going to find out that, just as with some cheap Chinese import watch in a fancy black leather box to make it look expensive, with Obama the outward presentation is very nice, but there is really nothing of substance on the inside of the package.

But the really alarming thing about the incident is the ominous fact that if for a sizeable number of Democrats, far-left Obama is too "right of center" for their taste, what in the hell are we to expect of the Democratic party? A Bolshevik Revolution? Or perhaps a Hugo Chávez-styled takeover (with Jimmy Carter again undoubtedly certifying the results)?

We must come to the sad realization that the same radical Marxist elements responsible for all the social upheaval and civil turmoil during the Vietnam war, which then had lain dormant while the Democrats rammed down the throat of the American people their socialist, secularist, godless agenda in the intervening years, has been awakened and they and their scions are once again on a rampage of Marxist radicalism aimed at the total secularization, and socialization of America.

These now graying, hate-America radical elements, with receding hairlines, once accomplished our ignominious defeat in Vietnam, and now they and their scions are hell-bent in accomplishing a similar defeat in Iraq and the Middle East. And because of them our Vietnam veterans have ever since been treated like vermin, ostracized and forgotten, many of them traumatized and homeless, nothing but human refuse in the very streets of our cities, opiating with drugs and alcohol the pain and dejection they suffer from the disdain of a country embarrassed by their presence, which for the most part has conveniently chosen to look the other way as if they do not exist, and forgotten about them!

I shudder at the thought, but I'm afraid it will be different now. This new generation of American warriors fighting in Iraq today, is more akin to their grandparents, that "Greatest Generation Ever" of World War II, than to their "Baby Boomer" parents (...the lost generation), that they will not take it laying down in the "gutter" as the Vietnam vets have, and that as a result we may possibly be at the verge of another civil war, one between our returning troops and those betraying them; one between the silent moral majority which makes the bulwark of the "Heartland" and of the country, and the boisterous, morally relativistic, radical, Marxist, Democratic "Elite" trying to veer our nation down the path of multiculturalism, and of the godless, socialist, secularist, destruction of our traditional values and of our "American way."

Ironic, isn't it? That the hand-wringing cut-and-run Democrats be so overly concerned about an escalation of the "sectarian" violence in Iraq into a civil war, when they may well be facing one of their own here at home, in our divided America...one they would have brought upon themselves in their treason...

As Charles Dickens would say: "If the shade of things to come does not alter..."
