Senate Democrats Quash Proposal To Increase Civil Fines On Employers Who Hire Illegal Aliens

Obviously, the Senate Democrats are not very serious about handling the illegal immigration problem.
I wonder how many of the fine Democratic Senators (and which Republican Senators) are receiving money from the likes of La Raza (also here).
