Topics: Political News and commentariesJust noticed a comment Dan Riehl has in his post on watching politicians, and it struck me that between the misinformed, media-led, and just plain ignorant voters that chose to play dice with our national security and the future of the country, and those that elected to stay home instead of vote, Americans for the most part got exactly what they deserved:
We just saw the Republican's tossed from the majority in Congress in large part due to corruption. Now, we are watching the Dems take control and the big fun is seeing if the new majority leader will be Abscam Jack Murtha and if the Intelligence Committee will be headed by an impeached judge.Make sense to you?
And I still can't figure out why anyone in their right mind would spend millions of dollars for a 100K (or so) job. On the other hand, in the context of Dan's comments, maybe I can.
