McCain: ''GOP Defeat Was Payback For Loosing 'Our Principles''
Topics: Political News and commentariesMcCain has some sound advice for the GOP, but it's coming from a guy conservatives are unlikely to support in 08. As Dan Riehl points out, "It's almost as if he's detached from reality. Aside from the legislation he's passed, there's the issue of his years of political intrigue flirting with Liberals undermining conservative positions again and again."
Personally, I'd rather vote for Borat. Although nearly all of Borat's victims are God-fearing, often Southern, Republicans, and just a little unused to tricky foreigners (read politicians like McCain) - people who are usually considered to be the Republican Party's core support, at least he made us laugh (Will GOP have last laugh?).
If Conservatives voted for McCain, the joke would be on us as it is in Borat; however, there would be nothing for us to laugh about.
