Iraqi Mission Update

Topics: Iraq

Curt at Flopping Aces calls attention to the fact that we're only a few weeks out from the November 7th election and we can see signs that the enemy inside Iraq is stepping up it's campaign to rid them of the United States. They apparently believe, as they should - given ample evidence by the American public and its media, that if they can create as much bloodshed as possible, the Democrats will try to run and hide as quickly as possible. And as the signs emerge that the enemy has ramped up the violence to get us out, there are other signs that apparent strategy of the appeasers in the U.S that are intent on getting Syria and Iran to help the U.S. get out of Iraq - looks doomed.

Read Curt's entire wrap up here.

It's hard to believe that Americans could be so naive as to not readily see how we are being manipulated by our enemies. It should be so clear by now, given the Vietnam experience, that our failure to establish a collective national will to win - a resolve for success against the War on Terror (and yes, Iraq is an important element of that war) - is the easiest way for our enemies to defeat us.

What a sad state of affairs; we are the greatest military force on the planet, but it is our own lack of will to win that is our enemy's ticket to our defeat.
