Hello! Europe, Are You There? Or Are You Already Muffled In Your "Burqa" ???
Topics: DhimmitudeOn a recent post: "More Anti-Israel Media Bias" here on Hyscience, which was linked from an excellent reportage on Jawa Report - "Palestinian Terrorists Murder Jewish Civilian," some of the appended comments from readers to the Jawa piece, were as poignant, if not more so, than the post itself. So much so, that I believe it merits a few words.
The post on Jawa is about the anti-Israel, anti-war, leftist, secularist, "let's cut and run," Murtha-styled, "slant" in the coverage by WaPo, the MSM, and the liberal media in general, which always tends to paint Jihadist insurgents as "Freedom Fighters," captured terrorists as "victims of our military," murderous Islamofacist thugs in civilian clothing as "enemy combatants," and which inevitably always paints the accursed Palestinians as the "victims" and the encroached Israelis as the "aggressors" regardless of the circumstances.
This, of course, should come as no surprise to anyone, and is just one more daily example of the existing, routinary, blatant, media bias - such as we all witnessed during the last elections from the MSNBC and CNN, which were virtually "campaigning" 24 /7 through their slanted, sensationalistic, "Broken Government" coverage, in favor of a Democratic win...which is exactly what they got.
One of the comments on Jawa, was made by a reader, Jesusland Joe on November 15, 2006 at 09:35 AM, concerning how, with Hezbollah poised to take over Lebanon with Iran continuing to arm and embolden it in the very face of the "impotent" U.N. Peacekeepers, the U.S. weakened by the results of the last elections, the Islamist in the ascent in Africa with the on-going Genocide being carried out by the Islamists in Darfur - which the West seems unwilling to stop, and a looming war between Somalia and Ethiopia - the U.S. may be totally unprepared or unwilling to intervene in Lebanon or Israel in the case of a concerted Hezbollah attack on Israel backed by Iran and Syria, and that we may be at the threshold of, quote: "A nightmare scenario, with Israel using nuclear weapons..."
The commenter also went on to express his chagrin at Europe's apparent lack of backbone in dealing with, and or being more proactive in helping to defuse, the situation, foretelling the dire consequences that the crimson tide of this worldwide "Jihadist bloodbath" will have when it eventually spills unto the very streets of Europe:
"Europe is the only player who has any chance to change what the outcome will be..."I don't want to sound bleak here, but I couldn't agree more. Yet, Europe may be in over it's head already.
As the results of the all the years of socialist, secularist, multi-culturalist, pacifist, "political correctness" - such as seems to have regained political momentum here in America with these infamous last elections; and the wave of millions of Islamic immigrants that has been sweeping Europe for decades now, which has not assimilated itself into European society and culture, but mostly remained apart and distinct in pockets all over the continent, many of them with significant Radical Islamist "cores" in their midst - such as we have seen flare up in all the recent riots; it is a very real possibility that European armies will soon be "too busy" warring their own urban, door to door, guerilla warfare, Islamofacist insurgency, in the very streets of their cities, fighting them for their very survival, to be of much help to the rest of the world.
Today Bill Mahrer, still ebullient from the results of the election, summed-up best the ominous view that is becoming a mantra for the "defeatists" which won these last elections in America, and which echoes the views of many of them.
"Let Allah win and the Jihadists have Iraq, Afghanistan, the rest of the Middle East, and sacrifice Israel and the Jewish People to them if we must, if that is their "beef," and that the way we'll get them off our ass for good"Such "appeasement" will only be the preamble for, and trigger, such a subsequent conflagration as has never been seen in the history of the world; in the face of which the term "World War" will seem a childish mockery in comparison.
God help us against all those unwilling to fight this looming evil, here and in Europe, and would rather stick their secularist, "peacenik," anti-war, "appeaser" heads in the sand, and hope the Jihadists will simply go away if they pretend.
Indeed, if the shades of things to come does not alter, and we do not stop pretending to be "ostriches" along with Nancy Pelosi, Murtha, and their fellow "yellow-streaked" Democratic ilk, dark portends are ahead, not only for us...but for the whole of humanity!
