Susan, Is That You, Or Just Another One Of Barney Frank's "Street Walkers" ?

Topics: Political News and commentaries

As the old saying goes: "Mimicry is the highest form of flattery."

Nowhere does this old maxim become more poignantly self-evident, than with the release of a new book by disingenuous columnist and USC law professor, Democratic hag, Susan Estrich, who as devoid of fresh new ideas of her own as her beloved Democratic Party is, finds herself reduced to "mimicking" the highly successful book by controversial conservative author Ann Coulter: "Godless: The Church of Liberalism," to the point of being nothing but a comical parody of the same, with the rather unattractive Miss Estrich appearing on the cover in a long blonde wig (or if it's her natural hair, Vidal Sasson help her!!!), dressed in a black dress as the one Miss Coulter wore for the cover of her book, striking a similar pose, and even parodying the title: "Soulless: Ann Coulter and the Right-Wing Church of Hate."

No doubt this was done intentionally for a twofold reason: The first is that Miss Estrich, just like her Democrats, having no serious new ideas or solutions to propose for resolving the challenges our country faces, but only the insufferable "chanting" - like the good trained parrot she is - of her "Democratic talking points Mantra" to offer, as we all have witnessed every time she's interviewed, wanted to take advantage of "riding on the coattails" of Miss Coulter's success with her book. The second, is that Susan hopes, by ridiculing and mocking Miss Coulter's book, to "take the edge off" any of the arguments Miss Coulter uses in it, by inference that they should not be taken seriously, and thus minimize the impact of the influence the huge success of the book is having by belittling it; much as a scared youth would whistle past the graveyard on a dark, cold, foreboding night! It's just pitiful!

But that should not come as a surprise, since aside from Miss Estrich's bankruptcy of ideas, and apparent lack of creativity, her Party has also of late turned to "mimicry," I suppose in the false hopes of duping "credulous" voters on the fence, and now with the Foley scandal has all of a sudden become the party of "Moral Outrage" at the incident! This coming from the "Party of All Things Immoral" which, on top of it all, has a far more established "Pedigree" and "Dishonorable Tradition" of such sexual improprieties and misconducts: from Clinton's "I did not have sex with that woman" oral sex at the Oval Office Lewinski scandal, to Congressman Gerry Studd's (D-MA) homosexual relationship with a 17-year-old Page, to Congressman Mel Reynolds' (D-IL) statutory rape of a 15 year old, to Barney Frank's (D-MA) "Congressional Prostitution Ring"!

"Moral indignation" from the Democrats indeed! It would be laughable were it not so pathetic! It's like the scene in Casablanca where Captain Renaud indignantly proclaims he's "shocked to find gambling going on at Rick's" while stuffing his cut of the winnings in his pocket!!!

In her copy-cat book parody, Miss Estrich not only unleashes her Democratic "wrath" at Miss Coulter, but manages to bring into the fray Syndicated Columnist and blogger Michelle Malkin, and Radio talk show host Glenn Beck, whom she calls "Ann wannabes" even though, aside from their conservative views, neither of them have anything to do with Miss Coulter's book; Miss Malkin's writing style being markedly more professional and journalistic than Miss Coulter's more "tongue-in-cheek" satirical one; and Glenn Beck's being irrelevant, as Radio and TV are his primary mediums! In her book Miss Estrich accuses both Miss Malkin, and Mr. Beck, of imitating Ann's "Coulterisms" which in her opinion "coarsen our culture" with every passing news cycle.

Wow Susan! As if the Democrats' "fantasizing" about President Bush's assassination with the recent "fictional" documentary on the subject , and as openly expressed in her own words by Cindy Sheehan, who wishes she'd be able to go back in time to, quote: "...kill him before he becomes President" is helping to "smooth things out" in a divided America!

Or all the immoral gay and lesbian debauchery and relentless attacks on traditional family values, so rabidly supported by the Democrats (except in Foley's case!), is helping bridge the divide!

Or the increasingly "Facist," repressive attitudes of those on the left who would stifle dissent, and silence those who have opposing points of views to their "Marxist," secular progressive, radical agendas, by force and intimidation, is making America a "kinder, gentler nation"! As happened a couple of days ago at Ivy League Columbia University, when some left-wing, socialist, and anarchist students irrupted on stage violently, as Minuteman Project founder, Jim Gilchrist, was about to speak at a speaking engagement on Campus, threatening those present with violence, denying them their "Freedom of Speech," chanting their Marxist slogans to the tune of communist-styled raised fists, while unfurling banners that read in Spanish and English: "There are no illegals" as well as a line written in Arabic that read: "There was no Holocaust"!!! All of this, while University security personnel and faculty members watched-on, non-chalantly and unconcerned, doing nothing to reign-in the mayhem!!! Is this the vision you, Susan, have of a "better," "less coarser" America, which you feel Miss Coulter, Michelle, and Glen are "endangering" with their "Coulterisms" as you call it?!?!

So what are we left with? Either one poor attempt by Miss Estrich at political writing, or one failed attempt at burlesque and satirical comedy; but on either case, just one more Democratic political hack-job on her part!

It is doubtful the book will sell much, other than to the far-left "Air America Crowd," and we all know how successful their support went for Air America! But at least, with winter approaching, Susan can use the unsold copies to light up her fireplace - which is the only way she'll get that "warm and fuzzy" feeling of satisfaction... from the publishing of her monumental fiasco!
