Once Again The "Double Standard" Of The "Elite" Media And Of The Democrats Becomes Blatantly Clear!
Topics: Political News and commentariesOnce again the "double standard" of the "Elite" media and of the Democrats, when it comes to how they report on the news with an openly "liberal bias," and how it seems the bar is always raised for Republicans, while Democrats are often "given a pass" has become painfully, blatantly, evident in the case of disgraced Republican Congressman Mark Foley.
Undoubtedly, the actions of Representative Foley are reprehensible and despicable, and aside from his immediate resignation from Congress, which he already has, the matter should be fully investigated, Mr. Foley prosecuted for his sexual predatory brhavior, branded a "sexual predator" officially, and anyone who knew of his actions and kept it back for "political reasons," should be prosecuted as well for obstruction of justice; from anyone in the Republican Leadership who covered it up, to those in the media, like ABC, who knew of these messages for months now, yet held them back only to report on them just five weeks before the mid-term elections, obviously trying to affect the outcome of the elections in favor of the Democrats, with little or no concern for the underage victims of Mr. Foley's salacious advances!
However, had it been a gay "Democratic" member of congress, who would have made such transgressions as Foley's, the media would have reported on the whole scandal in a more sober evenly manner and perhaps not even much at all, and Democrats would have come out in droves not only to support their man, but would have not asked that person to resign! On the contrary, they would be calling the incident a "Republican Conspiracy," a "witch hunt" to stack the cards just before the elections, and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi would be harping that it was all about "gay bashing" the poor Senator, instead of claiming as she does now that the Republican Leadership in the House was "complicit," because "suspecting" that Representative Foley "was gay," on no other evidence than hear-say and rumors, the "over-friendly" e-mails sent by Foley to Pages - which however did not contain nothing sexual or inappropriate - that were brought to the attention of the Republican House Leadership should have sent up a "red flag"!
Talk about "homophobia" and this, cynically, coming from someone whose "constituents" are the most "deviant" and depraved" in the nation: San Francisco, a large majority of whom would not have just sent sexually charged Instant Messages to the Pages, like some pubescent 12 year old love-struck girl, as Foley did, but would not only have aggressively sexually solicited the Pages, but even raped them at one of San Francisco's notorious "Turkish Baths" if given half a chance! The hypocrisy!!!
Some would say that I am exaggerating? Well, it actually did happen all before, and at that time it was a gay Democratic Congressman from Massachusets, who was involved in the statutory rape of a minor, a male Congressional Page, with whom he had homosexual intercourse; yet this Congressman was treated in a totally different manner by his fellow Democrats and by the media!
In 1983 Gay Democratic Congressman Gerry Studds, was found guilty of having had a homosexual affair with a then 17-year-old male Congressional Page back in 1973, whom he had flown to Morocco to have sexual intercourse with.
During the course of the House Ethics Committee's investigation, Studds publicly acknowledged his homosexuality, and alleged that the relationship with the minor had been consensual, though it constituted "statutory rape"!
Then Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, demanded Studds' expulsion form Congress, yet Democrats stood by their man, and when on July 20, 1983, the House voted to "Censure" the Congressman, a defiant, and unapologetic Gerry Studds, turned his back on the Censure being read to him, and "thumbed" his nose at Congress! Amazingly, his "liberal," sick, Massachusets constituency, went on to keep re-electing this homosexual child molester until he retired in 1996!!!
The media, though it did cover the Studds scandal, did not make of it at the time, the kind of "Three Ring Circus" it has made of the rather bland by comparison Foley missives, just five weeks before the elections! But of course, their leftist, secularist, "bias" in favor of the "Democrats" is just a figment of the "zealot," narrow-minded, Conservative imagination! Yeah, right! Just pick the New York Times, the Washington Post, the L.A. Times, or any of the majority of newspapers all throughout the nation on any given day, or turn to any news channel other than Fox News, and just look for yourself!!!
So one has to ask, where is the indignancy of the Party of "all things immoral" coming from now?!?! Apparently, they will not rest until they have 15 Republicans conveniently resign from the House, over the Foley affair, before the upcoming elections! That is what the hypocrites are after! Apparently Nancy Pelosi has alreay purchased the "curtains" for her office as House Majority Leader, and is hell-bent on using them!!!
But what can you expect of a Party, whose most prominent and influential member, ex-President Clinton, was too busy with the "Monica Lewinski Affair" (another teenage intern at the time, though already past the age of consent!) and other scandals during his Administration, to deal with the threat posed by Osama Bin Laden and Islamic terrorism, and failed to act on the "eight times" - count them: "eight" - that he had the opportunity to capture or kill Bin Laden; as former CIA Analyst Michael Scheuer, PH.D, who was deeply involved with the operations at the time, has forcefully asserted on several occasions; Clinton, thereby paving the way with his "hesitancy," and
"inaction" to the thousands of innocent lives lost on the Embassy bombings in Africa, the Khobar Towers attack in Saudi Arabia, the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole in Yemen, and ultimately the 9/11 attacks?!?!
What can you expect, of a Party, whose grandest Iconic Figure's, Ex-President Clinton's, "greatest legacy" to this nation, is but a "bit of semen on a blue dress"?!?!
Perhaps we should place that "blue dress" on a "glass shrine" at the Smithsonian, next to "Lincoln's frock and top hat," and "Washington's uniforms," a similar "historical artifact" that is a symbol embodying all that today's Democrats stand for: A self immolating lack of vision, and total and complete ideological, and moral, bankruptcy!!!
