On The Democratic Response To The North Korean Nuclear Test: Only Democrats...
Topics: Political News and commentariesOf course, the breaking news "Du Jour" is that about 12 hours ago North Korean madman Kim Jong-il has once again, thumbed his nose at the world community, even at their Chinese mentors who are not all too happy that Kim Jong-il went ahead and ignored their warnings not to do it, and indeed has carried-on the nuclear test North Korea had been threatening to carry out.
President Putin of Russia has issued a surprisingly strong public condemnation of Kim Jong-il's decision to go on ahead with the test; China has also vehemently condemned the action, this, ironically, after it has been both Russia and China, who have been most responsible for giving the North Korean tin-pot dictator free reign by refusing to cooperate with the world community in dealing with the mounting North Korean threat, blocking Security Council resolutions aimed at slapping sanctions on the rogue regime.
But what is most truly appalling about this whole situation, is not that "a madman acted as a madman," which, after all, is to be expected if the madman is given free reign of the asylum. What is truly appalling is that while the world hangs on the edge of its seat, the United Nations Security Council scrambles to hold an emergency meeting within the hour, and America apprehensively awaits for President Bush to speak to the nation in the next few minutes about the situation, Democratic "pin-heads" and "talking parrots" have already begun to politicize the situation and chant their "anti-Bush mantras" oblivious to the gravity of what could easily deteriorate into a nuclear confrontation! Unbelievable.
Only Democrats could politicize such dire events even as they are unfolding! And to wit, Democratic talking head Steve Murray, on Fox News, just cynically retorted when asked if it wasn't wrong of Democrats to politicize this crisis, quote: "That Republicans did so every time, as with Iraq!"
So, once again, all the world's ills are the fault of President Bush and the Republican Administration! And according to the loony Democrats North Korea's act of hostility and aggression are to be blamed on "bad, bad, Bush not going and "cuddling" poor Kim Jong-il, and the "failure" of his Administration to have a bi-lateral "Baby Talk" with the North Korean "brat" while he was throwing his "nuclear tantrum"!
Since Democrats are already saying, as in Iraq, that this is all our fault, no doubt what will follow, in answer to this mounting North Korean threat, by Nancy Pelosi, John Murtha, and Harry Reid and their ilk, will be to typically call for the U.S. to pull its troops out of South Korea and surrender the country to the North Koreans as we did with the South in Viet Nam, and deter the North Koreans from further nuclear aspirations by engaging in more "Cumbaya" talks with Kim Jong-il, even if we have to go from the "Six Party Talks," to "Bi-lateral Talks," to "Single-Way Talks" until we are blue in the face.
Undoubtedly this is also the way in which Democrats plan to also deal with Ahmadinejad and the looming Iranian nuclear threat! But, Oh, don't forget, we can always give the Iranians and Ahmadinejad a sizeable chunk of the Shi'ite populated south of Iraq after we partition it, in exchange for Ahmadinejad's "word as a gentleman" that Islamist radicals will cease all attacks on Israel and the U.S.! Right!!!
And "these" are the people slated in every poll, and being riled by the liberal "Elitist" media, to take over the House and Senate come November?!?!
I honestly do not know which is worst, the North Korean nuclear threat posed by that madman Kin Jong-il and his regime, which after all can be dealt with diplomatically and or militarily, or the threat from within: Those madmen "peacenik" Democrats, out of touch with reality, that because of lust for power, and their "out-of-touch with reality" ideology, are willing to endanger the lives of Americans in order to once again hold the reins of power and shove down our throats their proven failed, secularist, socialist, agendas of "appeasement," surrender, and defeat!!!
God help us! Not only now....but come November 7th!!!
