Hey Harry, Tell Us More About The Land Deal You Don't Want To Talk About

Topics: Political News and commentaries

From the Associated Press via Jawa Report:

Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid collected a $1.1 million windfall on a Las Vegas land sale even though he hadn't personally owned the property for three years, property deeds show.

In the process, Reid did not disclose to Congress an earlier sale in which he transferred his land to a company created by a friend and took a financial stake in that company, according to records and interviews.

Apparently Harry hung up a reporter last week when questioned about the deal.

First it was Foleygate, now we have a Harrygate. Yes folks, politics is a rough and dirty business, but someone has to take advantage of the rest of us poor slobs. Meanwhile, back in the real world, the terrorists are raising hell in Iraq, Iran wants us and Israel to disappear off the map, North Korea is threatening nuclear war, and Islamists all over the world want to kill us.

I wonder what will get the most coverage from the media. My bet is Foleygate, after all, Harry is a Democrat, and terrorism, North Korea, Iran, and the Islamists that want to kill us don't play into the Democratic agenda. If it doesn't have to do with attacking Bush or the Republicans, the Dems are not only not interested, they haven't one iota of anything to offer. And surely neither they nor the media want to talk about the dirty skeletons in the Dem's closet.

And by the way, the economy is doing well.

Update:
Ace of Spades posts, "The Corrupt Democrats"
Texas Rainmaker has "Dirty Harry" and says we should contact Harry and encourage him to do the right thing and resign today (Isn't this what the Left would be calling for if this had been a Republican story?).
