'Bad News' For Tax-Raising Democrats

Congressional estimators said today that the federal budget estimate for the fiscal year just completed dropped to $250 billion, as the economy continues to fuel impressive tax revenues. The CBO's latest estimate is $10 billion below it's predictions issued in August and well below a July White House prediction of $296 billion.

The improving deficit picture _ Bush predicted a $423 billion deficit in his February budget _ has been driven by better-than-expected tax receipts, especially from corporate profits, CBO said.

In other words, tax cuts work.

And just think about this - the Dems can't think of a single tax cut they'd want to keep in place. Remember that. It's important, and no one wants you to know it. As the Anchoress has it, "the press and the Dems want you to keep your eye on the Foley-gate birdie. Misdirection is the illusionists best friend."

The Democratic leadership and their promoters in the MSM surely don't want to talk about the very critical issues facing us, such as Iran's war with us in Iraq, immigration, terrorism, national security, N. Korea, nor the administrations success with the economy, in spite of having to overcome 9/11 and combat a war around the world against radical Islamists and their state sponsors.
