Plamegate: The Shoe Is Now On The Other Foot And There's Some Interesting Questions That Should Be Answered

Topics: Political News and commentaries
In the wake of the revelation that former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage was the original source of the information that former Ambassador Joe Wilson's wife was a low-level CIA employee, Jed Babbin has a series of very interesting questions about what was in Patrick Fitzgerald's original referral.
... which has AcademicElephant at Redstate wondering if the gullible Plame-Wilsons, eager to play out their mutual fantasy of being a liberal version of James Bond and Agent XXX, were the pawns of far more powerful figures in the CIA who have, from the very early days, had it out for the Bush White House.

Babbin's piece is definately worth the click - and the CIA should damned well be required to answer the questions in a public forum like the Dems joy in when it's to the disadvantage of the administration or the nation's security.
